We’re looking for a driven Site Engineer to join our growing commercial team.

ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Site Engineer, you will be a key member of the site management team, responsible for ensuring that construction works are completed safely, accurately, and to the highest quality standards. You will work closely with the project manager, site manager, and subcontractors to support daily operations and technical coordination on-site.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Set out, level, and survey the site in accordance with design drawings and specifications.
  • Ensure that all works are carried out in line with the project programme, design, and quality requirements.
  • Liaise with project management, design teams, and subcontractors to coordinate site activities.
  • Check and interpret drawings, plans, and quantities for accuracy.
  • Monitor materials, workmanship, and site safety compliance.
  • Maintain accurate site records, including daily diaries, QA documentation, and as-built information.
  • Assist in resolving technical issues and report progress or delays to site management.
  • Support quality inspections and testing to ensure compliance with project and regulatory standards.
  • Participate in progress meetings and provide input on engineering and construction matters.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • 3 years’ experience in a Site Engineer role, preferably with a main contractor.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and technical standards.
  • Proficient in setting out and surveying instruments (e.g., Total Station, GPS).
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and other relevant software.
  • Full driving licence
